Win-I2CUSBDLL is a general purpose I2C and SPI tool that allows a user to communicate with any I2C or SPI slave device.
Win-I2CUSBDLL is a general purpose I2C and SPI tool that allows a user to communicate with any I2C or SPI slave devices through a computer’s USB port. Win-I2CUSBDLL includes the USB-based hardware and Windows software that is compatible with 64-bit versions of XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
The Win-I2CUSBDLL software can be use as an EEPROM programmer, having the capability to program I2C and SPI serial EEPROMs, RAM, and FRAM from 16 bytes (128 bit) to 512k bits (64k bytes). The software also includes several “universal” modes providing a simple interface for sending messages to I2C/SPI devices.
In addition to the “universal” interfaces, the software is ready to communicate with many commercially available I2C devices. Click on our Software Overview tab to view I2C device part numbers that are directly supported.
The Win-I2CUSBDLL hardware is capable of clock speeds up to 1 Mb/s for I2C and up to 6Mb/s for SPI. There are 3.3V and 5V switchable power outputs on the hardware allowing you to supply low-power target systems.
