The new diagnostics interface opens the way to the smart automotive workshop 4.0! Now with the new HEX-NET diagnostics interface you can finally do all your workshop jobs wirelessly with VCDS! This is made possible thanks to WiFi technology. Simply log onto the WiFi in the workshop and gain wireless access to the network on the vehicle from any computer or device. Thanks to perfect integration into the IT infrastructure of your workshop, the HEX-NET offers unprecedented opportunities to optimize the diagnostics process!

You do not have WiFi available in your workshop or you wish to use the HEX-NET in transit? That too is no problem because at the push of the button the HEX-NET is configured as a router to which any WiFi-capable device can connect.

Thanks to an additional new feature, Ross-Tech VCDS Mobile, access to full VCDS functionality can be gained from any platform (provided there is WiFi capability and a Web browser available). The high-powered built-in microprocessor makes all this and more possible, whether it be via iPhone, iPad, Android cell or laptop. A world of new opportunities is opened by mobile diagnostics, allowing vehicle parameters to be recorded even during a test drive!
