USB / RS485 Converter

The USB/RS485 converter is a cost-effective device for transfer serial data over USB.
Connecting to a USB port on a computer or USB hub, this device instantly add serial communication ports to your system.

By plugging the device into the USB port, it is automatically detected and installed.

There are no IRQ & COM port conflicts, since the port does not require any additional IRQ, DMA or memory on the system.

This USB/RS485 provides instant connectivity to RS485 communication devices for factory automation, multi-drop data collection devices, barcode readers, time clocks, scales, data entry terminals, PC to PC long-distance communications.

It uses Send Data control with automatic baud rate adjustment.
It also features a high speed 115.2 Kb/s transmission rate on serial RS485.

The USB/485 port is optically isolated with 2000 volts optical isolation.
The optical isolation protects the PC or notebook from spikes and surges on the RS485 network.
