產品介紹

Description

Connect to CAN FD and CAN networks with a PC using a simple serial interface. Using a USB connection, the device creates a virtual serial “COM port” on a PC and requires no special drivers or use of any proprietary software. Send and receive CAN messages with any COM port terminal software. The simple ASCII formatting of CAN messages makes it easy to write a software program to interface with a CAN bus

Now available in an USB-C option.

The CANUSB COM FD is backward compatible with the original CANUSB COM device.

The CANUSB COM FD operates in either tunnel mode or command mode depending on the desired functionality. With a wide variety of settings and configuration parameters, this  Interface device creates a powerful solution for interfacing between a Virtual USB COM Port and CAN.

When plugged into a USB port, the CANUSB COM FD will enumerate as a serial COM Port. This capability means the device can be used with any COM Port based software, including TeraTerm.

Drivers are standard in Windows XP and later, and are available for MAC and Linux.

NOTE: The CAN FD USB COM is NOT compatible with Peak System software.
